How is that roof?

How much damage did that tree actually do to the roof when it fell? If anything of size hits your roof and causes shingle damage, it should be checked out by a licensed general contractor, home inspector, or structural engineer, depending on the severity. This roof has a shingle replacement, but no structural repairs were observed inside. Maybe it was only a temporary fix to keep it dry inside, but the rafters are shattered and not safe to walk on or leave in its present state. A licensed general contractor would be able to repair this correctly, and if it seems beyond their scope, would probably recommend a structural engineer to review it for repair suggestions (especially if it had been an engineered truss system).
